I'm thinking I'll just order the grenadines in all of the available colors and get it over with. It seems I'm always wishing I had another color.

Perhaps they will become the Gdot 'OneTie'

So quick q: I'm getting two garza fina grenadines, bitter chocolate and another. I want a reddish grenadine, was thinking of burgundy, but perhaps that would be too close to the bitter chocolate? It is kind of brownish, as has been said before. Anyone go for a different shade of red and care to comment?

Do you have the swatches so you can see the colors accurately? To my eye bitter chocolate and burgundy do seem quite similar, espcially in dim light.

I am planning on getting 3 grenadines very soon: either burgundy/dark chocolate/navy or bitter chocolate/dark red/navy. Such a tough decision!

Of course you could always go back and get a garza fina in the colors you don't select the first time around

Or bitter chocolate, forest green, and navy :D

These are the three I would get if I had to get only three...although for a green tie, I ended up going with the black wrap cashmere, which at least in the swatch looks great.

When will you be getting them?

These are the three that I have and I could not be happier with them. The forest green is gorgeous in real life.

I got my navy grossa 6-fold but ordered the bitter chocolate as a 4-fold and cashmere as a 3-fold to experiment so that for future orders i'll know if it's worth it...has anyone else done this? Are the 6-folds way better?

Because of the material, David suggested a 4 fold which has the perfect weight and knot size. I do not care for thick ties so it works well for me.

I do kind of like a thick tie...but I'll wait and see how the 4 fold turns out before ordering my next grenadine...which will probably be either dark navy or midnight blue

After spending far too much time trying to narrow down the choices, this really does seem to be the only viable solution. It only leaves the question of grossa or fina?
