Very nice, congratulations...I never get tired of looking at pictures of Sam Hober products!
this is a very conservative group, I admire your restraint. I'm always tempted to go extravagant with Hober, like a kid in a lolly shop
Good looking group. Would love to see more pics. Im intrigued by the charchoal one on the left in particular.
Here's one I'm wearing today.
The background is a true midnight blue that looks almost black. Hard to capture. I'll try to take some better pictures of the others another time.
For anyone who's thinking about getting these, I really recommend ordering a swatch set. IRL, the silks are much more beautiful than the website pictures. I probably would have passed over both the brown and charcoal ties had I not seen the swatches.
swatch set is key... but that makes it even tougher to pick just a few!
swatch sets are a gateway drug
gfreeman showed me his swatch set and now really really tempted. More likely than not, within a month.......
I'm going to have to order a swatch set. I just order a navy wool tie today.
Yellow dots on maroon, unlined 7-fold with rolled edges:
Star, I like that, a lot. beautiful work there.
My first two Hober ties: a three-fold pinspot and a four-fold grenadine. Slightly darker IRL due to flash, but gorgeous.
Is the standard construction for the grenadines to be unlined or not lined all the way through to the tip like NOBD's? With this type of construction does the tip of the tie look somewhat "see-through" from the front?
It does. Watch out, big pic:
Though the camera sees more than the eye.
