There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Yes.

Brown and navy. Classic. Navy and green. Classic.

I read this as," I'm not going to pick up any of the new stupid grenadines"

    I was battle-ready.

Also, still hoping for a burgundy grenadine with pindots to be created at some point.

Pink diamond weave in action. Feels good to get this one back in the rotation.

Actually, I'm not sure that helps, lol. Your statement can be taken two ways:

    1. You like your grossa pindot so much that you're going to order the fina version.
    2. You're not really crazy about the grossa, so will try the fina instead.

Version 1 was the intent. I also believe they are different enough that I can justify it to myself as purchasing two different designs. It's quite rare that option 2 would apply to a Hober.

That's what I figured. I'm still undecided, though. Leaning toward the grossa just for variety's sake since all of my grenadines right now are fina. I'm sure I'd be happy with either. :)

    Agree and in! :slayer:

I really like that stripe as well, and that pin dot, and...

Stripes aren't my go to pattern either but I really, really like a number of these and will be picking up more than one. :nodding:

I think David's original stripes are simple and classic and as mrjester points out above at least a couple of the new ones are as well. In the meantime, he sprinkled in some colors I love (purple and red) and threw in some fina stripes as well.

For me, I actually like the new offerings more than I thought I would.

I agree with Jester . . . and flyswatter, so . . . .problem solved with buying two ties instead of one!

the new SF stripe is the most appealing to me of the group.

i still need a madder neat print.

Allow me to defend myself, I would recommend the following offerings:

    Forest green with ecru strip
    Dark Choc w/ red stripe
    Bitter Choc w/ ecru stripe
    Dark Red w/ ecru stripe
Wide alternating forest green & midnight blue stripes
Wide alternating midnight blue & dark red stripes

I do like fina stripe #4 though.

I just think if you're going to go through the trouble of designing a new batch of stripes, it would be logical to offer the classic designs that are currently available on the midnight blue background in backgrounds such as forrest green, bitter chocolate, dark red, etc. :hide:

You ever see Once Upon a Time In Mexico?

That scene where Depp kills the cook because the food is too good to exist?

    This would be like that.

I will back Slickman and say that I too would have preferred more classic and subdued colors with simpler stripe designs. That said, I really like grossa stripe #8, fina stripe #4, and pin dot #1. I'm not purchasing any immediately, but probably will sometime down the road. :)

This thread finally talked me into it. Burgundy piccola & Chocolate grossa ordered!

Had been trying to catch a couple Drake's on sale but keep missing. I think I'll be plenty happy with Hobers though.

I think the new grenadine stripes are OK, but prefer the old ones, actually. I do like that some of the new ones are fina rather than grossa.
