Man, you're brutally tearing down the wall of my prior aversion to diamond weave and planting a glorious tree of lust in the detritus.

lovely. which is the red neat? 153? how red is it? I have 121. if that's 153, im wondering if the difference justifies picking that one up too. Keep in mind, I don't need much to justify another tie . . . .
    which pindot is that one?
    awesome choices all around

    ^ Thanks

Red is a crimson red. Darker than the other red neat I have

The navy dot tie is Macclesfield silk, forgot the number

I really, really need the midnight blue Macclesfield...although they are all fantastic.

I f-ing love that tie. Simply awesome!

[IMG] Do not fear the diamond weaves! Btw, I had to look up "detritus" so I learned a new word today! [IMG]

Today's Hober is the english pattern #20 (3-fold construction).

Both stunning, you guys have great collections. Can't wait to put another order in soon.

That houndstooth is especially lovely - I'm always a little on the fence about the appropriateness of wearing such ties to work but they do look stunning.

Thanks. I thought I had a good collection, but PP is killing me. I love the houndstooth.

Thanks Syeknom! I clearly have no such struggles with the appropriateness fence...[IMG]
[IMG] I think it is safe to say we both have nice collections...but it never seems to be enough which leads us to in stitches quote below...
It is indeed. Before looking at this thread for the first time 6-7 months ago I had amassed a fairly sizable collection of ties, none of which were Hober. Since reading/viewing this thread, I have now amassed a pretty sizable Hober collection as well. There are at least two "problems" with this (1) I continue to see ties on this thread that I like and must have and (2) I am almost completely neglecting my non-Hober tie collection. So it bears repeating, "this thread is dangerous". [IMG]

Other than the effect on one's wallet, I see no issue with (1). I also see no issue with (2) as every tie I've worn this year has been a Hober. I think that joining the no purchase club for a couple of months might be a good way to stop the madness.

Think I'll vote yes and go even further mad.

Has anyone purchased: a "rough Thai silk" tie? If you can share pics that'd be great!
