Silverfox, I saw this post and liked the ties so much I ordered every one of them (except the dark red fina). I hope you don't mind. [IMG]

Here is a pic of my Macclesfield #102 worn this last week. It is a 6-fold.

    Thanks. [IMG]

I have a number of the Macclesfield in my closet and some more on order. I really like the feel of them. Currently, I have #92, #98 (I don't think this one is available anymore), and #119 along with #102. I am somewhat embarrassed to admit that I have #84, #114, #124 and #167 on order. [IMG] I don't have any pics of these but will take some as I wear them.

I have had all of my Macclesfield ties made with 6-fold construction. I like the weight and the knot that it makes.

Great ties Panther! I'm not usually a fan of Madders but I like the first one. I like the green, orange and blue combo.

Madder print #6 is stunning. I could never wear it myself, but the inner person inside my screams to wear it. I can certainly picture it being toned down fairly easy with the right shirt/jacket. I finally put in an order for two ties myself. I don't wear them very often but it'll be nice to have them when they are needed..

You need to listen to the inner-atoms. [IMG]

Thanks M. Charles. All the ties are 3 3/8 inches wide (just 'cause I can!). The Macclesfield #102 is one of my favorities as well.

Really hoping my order of three Hober ties shows up today! I'm already anxious to place another order and I haven't even handled a Hober tie yet. This thread has me convinced I won't be disappointed, though. Still, I'd like to make sure I'm happy with the measurements and construction options before I finalize my next selections.

Funny, this is basically the exact same situation I am in. I ordered my first set of ties from David a couple of weeks ago, and they should be arriving soon. I'm just trying to hold back on buying anything else until the first order comes in!
