I've had immense difficulty with purchasing jackets that to the point I don't own a single blazer, or sports jacket due to fit issues. I measure 40 inches at the chest, but only 15.5 in the shoulder. As a result, jackets I've tried on fit like they would on a football player. The "less structured shoulders" just fall onto my arms and droop to the point they don't look like shoulders at all, but just become part of the sleeve. I've tried on jackets ranging from an 18 inch shoulder, all the way to a 19.5 inch shoulder, and they all exhibit the same problem. Are there any RTW brands that manufacture a jacket with a 15.5-17 inch shoulder in a size 40, with high armholes? I'm alright with some shoulder extension, but from what I've tried on, it gets to the point of absurdity. I'm also fairly tall at 6'2 with a 31 inch inseam, and find most jackets (particularly if they are "modern fit") a bit short in the body (although not in the sleeves), even in a size "long". I'm not necissarily againt MTM jackets, but I'd rather just purchase things off the rack, for the sake of money and simplicity. I'm a student so I can't exactly spulrge.
