Four or five inches, I think. I am not sure, actually. I think the standard is six, and they slimmed it down from there, but I don't know exactly by how much.

Standard is around 6", or so I've also heard. I like something like 2"-3.5" (depending, don't wear that many shirts anyway). More blousy shirts make me look like a gay pirate, a demographic I am, sadly, not a part of.

2.5 - 3" would be too slim for me. I doubt mine are less than 4".

I think I've got about 5" extra fabric in the chest, but that's just an educated guess.
