A question on HangerProject hangers & garment bags

Hello all

I just noticed that these hangers are now available on the UK market and so was thinking of investing in some.

Is the additional shoulder support really a bonus? I also notice they recommend that the hanger stops right at the edge of the shoulder, rather than protruding into the armhole. Is this something one should be careful of? I've been using 45cm width wooden hangers (with moderately wide shoulder support) and they protrude somewhat into the arm hole. HangerProject offers a 43cm width for medium which might rectify the problem.

However I store my suits in cotton garment storage bags. The hangers have very wide shoulder supports and I am worried that they would not quite fit in the bags, which don't have a great deal of depth. It could very well stretch the bag at the top, warping the fit/drape of the cover over the suit.

Does anyone use their hangers with a garment bag and face such an issue?

Thanks

They are an Affiliate Vendor and have a thread here http://www.styleforum.net/t/75787/the-hanger-project-affiliate-thread. You'll get a lot more views/replies in there. I have HP hangers and they are great...you shouldn't have any issues with the garment bags.
