    Thanks.

I do want something a bit slimmer. Something that looks smarter with boots and shoes etc.

My only real issue now is the length as I'm 6ft and the 34" legs are going to make them very baggy. Will need to look at getting them altered.

if the leg opening is slim enough (which all types of APC is except for Rescue), they won't be very baggy. they'll settle nicely, or you can always cuff. if both are not your thing then altering is the way to go.

here is a pic of me wearing NS size 26 and I'm 5'9"

Yeah I'll try them on prior to rolling them and if they seems a bit baggy length wise then I'll get them altered. Will need to find a decent place that specialises in denim alterations.

Tried on some APC PNS yesterday and what the heck why is the inseam so short! It was really frustrating to me because if it were not for the inseam I would have a pair right now that fit me really well and I'd be very happy with. There's always one thing! Might just go PS then not too sure. Suggestions?

I hear ya there. I tried on some overddye APC PS the other day and the inseam on them was like 33 inches in the 28....like cmon.

Raw petit standard inseam is fine, those are prob my fave APC cut.

You don't even have a choice between 2 different inseams. Some brands have 28/32 and 28/34 etc. So yeah it sucks esp when someone could just hem them and I'm paying a fairly high price for them

Are there any APCs with a 36 inseam? Can't seem to find any online anywhere. Thanks!

. I got apc petit standards in a 33 and the inseam is 36. I dunno if that's ur size lol but I am selling them they've only been worn a couple times no washes. They're too big for me. But it's weird cause I looked everywhere online for measurements before I bought and they all said 34" but I finally got them and they're 36"

I'm approaching 5 months now and thinking of doing a soak. What's the best way to do it without making the overall indigo shade of the jeans lighter? I'd like to have just the fades without losing the dark indigo color. Right now they only have creases, no apparently fading yet.

I'm also 6 ft tall and I buy size 35x34 apc NS. They are baggy but I bring them to a tailor and ask them to taper the jeans. After that they look great!

Does anyone know what other brands have fits like APC's Petite Standard? I've tried so many brands and they're all too baggy. I appreciate the help/advice.

I got these Petite Standards about a week ago and sized down 2. I've been wearing them everyday.
They are pretty tight around my thighs, and think maybe I should return them and size up. Or will they eventually stretch in the area too.
    Any opinions?

Don't you think PNS or NS would fit you better?

Nick, I recommend the NS. The PS may hug your hips/thighs too much. I have the NS and the fit is great. .

Thanks for the replies. Appreciate it.
How should I size in the PNS or NS?

    Those are a 30, and I'm normally a 32.

^that's always a tricky question but I'm guessing 30 in NS will fit you well.

by the way, anyone knows where I can find exact measurements of petit new standard? I dislike context's measurements as they round the numbers.

Anyone buying a new pair of APC New Standards should size down 3 from their normal waist. This is how the NS look on me even though I sized down 2. APC NS sz 31 (my normal waist=33). This looks more like a regular fit than a slim straight fit.

yeah, but that nick man has huge thighs in proportion to his waist. maybe your proportion is an anomaly because NS look slim enough on most pics I've seen.
