This question has been asked, but I didn't see that anyone has replied to it: what is the new name of what used to be called the APC Rescue? The website no longer has anything called that, so I'm hoping they just renamed them...

    Thanks!!

The Rescue is now just known as 'Straight jeans'. Terrific jeans [IMG]

GREAT! I was *very* unhappy when whoopee thought they were done-for. I've been wearing mine hard as nails for 6 months, and they have almost no wear on them whatsoever. It's totally bizarre, but I love them.

if anyone could post some measurements of APC new standard size 27 as compared to size 28 (or 26 compared with 27, or any two sequential sizes for that matter), it would be much appreciated!

I have the 27, but it's been worn for 2 months now so it's definitely stretched to fit me. Somebody else could post the 28?

    tweedles, stretched measurements are fine!

specifically, i'm interested in the leg opening, the knee, and the leg width at the bottom of the crotch. thanks.

alright, i've looked through the thread and have found people saying they have difficulty in buttoning up their jeans at first...

but how about if I were to size down 2 and CANNOT button up the jeans? I haven't bought a pair yet, but I'm going out next week to a store that sells some, and I'll try them on...but my size 34 jeans are already pretty tight at the waist, and I'm just curious what if the 32s do not button up at all? since they won't be having pressure on the waist, will it still eventually expand to button up if I wear them around the house not completely buttoned or what? or should I just go for a 33 if they don't button up?

IMHO, buying jeans that you cannot button up to begin with is just stupid - its fashion victim absurdity. If you want a tighter pair of APCs (which do stretch a little more than other jeans), buy a pair that are pretty snug (i.e. that you have to suck in your gut to button up.) They will loosen up at the waist to be comfortable, and will stay that way, unless you do something wierd, like hooking your thumb into the waistband like I do, which will stretch out the waistband further. The size down, size up thing is meant as a guideline only.

Hi guys, im looking at getting a pair on overdyed grey new standards, i wear a size 30 in nudie thinn finns, would a size 27 apc stretch out to something similar? Dont have any nearby stores to try em on :/

Ive read this thread and the one on superfuture and im still unsure, as a lot of the info is for raw denim and im not sure if it applies to the overdyed, any help appreciated [IMG]

I'd go with the 28's. I*wear a 29 right now, and they are slightly antifit. I easily fit into a 30 Thin finns, but prefer a more antifit 31 (or even 32!) 27 is going to be way too tight.

Haha, not a big fan of the stretch-to-fit?

I have a quick q here. If I prefer my RRDS and Canes 47 to be waist 32, what size should I get the New Standard for a skinny, slim-jim-like fit?
