Can anyone tell me if these are NC's or PS's? I really like the fit.

    Thanks!

Stacks very much like my pair of sz 27 PS. His could be a sz 25 or 26 though, the top blocks looks a little tighter.

What size would you recommend in a Rescue for somebody with a size 32" wait and 40.5 inch thighs? Size down two to a 30? I'm looking for a slimish fit, but no crotch cutters!

    29.

I think that may be too small. I actually have a pair of Rescues in a size 28 which I bought years ago when I was smaller. I can't get my legs into them.

if you can squeeze into them long enough to let them stretch out, that might be a cheaper option, i've read you can get about an inch worth of stretch in the legs.

i have 21" to 22" thighs, and i fit in NS size 28 just fine, tight at first but now fit good. i like a kinda tight fit in the thighs though, dont know if you prefer a more relaxed fit or what.

Well I wore them for almost a year, when I got them. So they're pretty stretched out as it is.
It's worth a try a though. I like a slim fit, which is snug, rather than tight. So it might be worth going for a 30...Although now I'm wondering if that will be too big [IMG]

so for anyone wondering how to size black apc vs indigo, get the same size. I just got my 28s after trying a 29 before and 28 is the clear winner (same as my indigo size). for anyone whos wondering, black apcs waist comes 3 inches bigger than tagged as opposed to indigos which come 2 inches bigger.
29s came at 32" and 28s came as 31". after one night of wear my 28s now measure 32" but im not really expecting a whole lot of stretch from these because the rise is bigger on the black NS so they can sit higher on my waist where its smaller.

How long does it typically take for NC's to stretch out in the thighs and calves after pretty active use (biking, long walks, ocassional running)? The waist has already stretched out a bit but the other two sections I've mentioned haven't, so I'm just wondering how long they'll take. Thanks!

check out http://www.contextclothing.com/item.php?id=7 for their measurement charts. I think they measure the thigh like 1" down from the crotch, because the measurements are a bit smaller than what I measured when i got my NS, but thats the only thing thats off on their chart by more than like a quarter inch if i remember correctly (which i would chock up to variation between batches).

even though they're off, i would hope that their measuring error would be consistent between sizes, so you can probably make a rough estimate of how much the thigh measurement goes up between sizes.

how long have you had them?

the waist on my NS stretched out in a matter of days and hasn't changed since, but it took like 3 weeks to a month (if i remember correctly) for the legs to completely stretch out. all i do is walk around and sit in them though, so they'll probably stretch out faster if you're more active in them. calfs even stretched a little bit, but not much because they weren't really tight, just snug.

Yeah, I wear 33 in Rescues, and even though the 32s fit over my ass, they were just too tight.

So, if you literally can't get the 28s over your legs, go with 30, but if you can get the 28s over your legs and ass but just can't button them up comfortably enough, get a 29.

I wear a size 36 in most other jeans, so my rescues are sized down 3, as per most recommendations with rescue.

First post. I just received a 28 NS. Usually wears 30 with relaxed jeans. I have pretty thick quads and small waist. The thigh area is pretty much skin tight, while the waist is good fit. I can button up my fly with ease. My question is will the thigh area stretch a bit after awhile? Should I just go for the Rescues and forget about the NS?

    Here are the pictures:

I'm still new to raw denim but I've been researching for a little while now. I've been thinking about getting some APCs based on all the credit it gets in terms of quality and such but it looks like to me that most pics of APC fades make the jeans look so grey and dull IMO. Is this just poor transition to pics or do other people find this to be the case in person?

Obviously fades aren't necessarily the most important factor for everyone, but in general would the overall quality make up for the greyness or if it is important should another brand be looked at instead?

Firstly I made a mistake with the sizing of my current Rescues. They're in fact a size 29 and not a 28. Secondly after digging them out last night, I must have lost a lot of weight in the legs, because I can put them on and button them up no problem [IMG]

Only issue is they're slightly too snug in the thighs and crotch. It's hard to explain, the rise feels like it's slightly too low to be comfortable because of the tightness. I'm wondering now whether to see what happens when I lose some more weight, or just to go for a new pair in a size 30. These ones have already been worn a lot and are broken in. I'm not interested in breaking the new pair in, just wearing them as a dressy jean.
