I think the inseam is 34", not 100% sure though.

Yeah that's gonna be a little short for me. I wear a 34 in dress pants, but usually a 36 in jeans. [IMG]

    My true waist is 30"

I want a slim fit from the petite standards...

Would sizing down to a 26 be recommended?

(26=28" waist, plus 2 inches for stretching resulting in a 30")

Sizing down 2 sizes (from your true waist) should be fine.

    I'd go with a 28...

My tagged size 29 New Standards (actual waist 31" when new, now stretched out to 33") have an inseam of 34 inches. I have heard the larger sizes (tagged size 30 and above) may have a longer inseam, but I can't say for sure - maybe someone else who has these can confirm.

do the petit standard corduroy run small?
    i'm generally a 32 in jeans

i'd like them to be reasonably tight. will the elastic cause them to stretch?

    sizing help appreciated!

Can someone recommend me a proxy for an item that's only available on APCs international site?

Also interested in an answer for this. I know to size down for normal APC jeans, including the petit standard, but not sure about sizing for the non-denim PS.

I wore a 31x32 in RRDS and then a 32x32 in RRDG and my RRDG were still a little snug..

what should I be wearing in APC?

In all truth, I love nudies so much, but I need a different pair of raw denim..but Regular Ralfs were the best fit I've ever owned...

if I wanted something incredibly similar, what should I be looking for?

Also, where can I buy APCS for cheap?

Yeah, RRDS are a great fitting jean. It doesn't matter what people's opinions have become of them, they're still a refreshing change from all these tapered jeans. But I would never buy them at retail.

From a 31 RRDS, I'd go for a 29 in APC, Rescues at least (which are also an awesome jean).

I happen to have a pair of 26 PS for sale and I'm about your size... Mine are slightly worn but still in very good shape, no washing or hemming or anything. if you are anyone are interested PM me before they go to B&S

so a 30 or 31 in APC would probably be alright? (from a 31-32 in RR)

Are the bottoms quite tapered ? I'm not that big a fan of a smaller leg opening, maybe thats why I liked nudies. It doesn't accentuate my body shape very nicely (I have relatively big upper legs and smaller calves)

I would recommend a 26 in your case. My waist is about the same (30.5") and after stretching, the 26 fits perfectly.

Sizing down 2 sizes (from your true waist) should be fine.

    I'd go with a 28...

That would be way too big IME and IMO. I initially bought a 27 and after stretching it is too big in the waist. I imagine a 28 will fall down to his knees without a belt once stretched.

It appears to be the New Standard. Doesn't look much like the Cure.
