Hi! I'm new to this forum.

I've just bought this navy parka from A.P.C. from their A/W 10/11 line and I think most of you are familiar with this piece as it's an A.P.C. classic released for every A/W season.

I really like this parka and I've wanted to buy it since 3-4 A/W seasons ago but I was always late (they're outsold pretty fast!), and/or bought something else instead each time.

Well, not this time. "This is finally it!" I said to myself and went down to my favourite shop and took it home with me for $560. I've not used it yet as it hasn't really been that cold in Denmark yet but just when I was rearranging my closet earlier today I found a minor flaw on the jacket and the stitching in some areas was not done quite well, especially on the removable fur lining.

I'm quite disappointed with the quality and I can't believe A.P.C. being this "casual" on a $560 piece. The jacket seems quite fragile and I don't think it will hold for more than a season or two.
The parka is going back for the flaws/defects I found and they'll give me a new one but I'm not sure if I'll keep it anyway.

However, maybe I'm too judgemental because how can I be sure when I've not used it yet? But then again, if I take it in use I'm not entitled to deliver it back so it's a dilemma.

Do some of you have any experience with this particular parka and have you had issues with it during your ownership?

i've had similar problems, i used to buy alot of APC stuff until i finally realized that the quality is really poor for the amount of money you are paying. what your really paying for is their slim styling and fit, rather than the quality.

PC is not a "heritage" brand or a "workwear" brand. They are a fashion brand. I would never expect exceptional quality for the money from them.
