I recently did when it was raining as I needed a free hand if one is holding the umbrella.

So I used my Rapha Fixed Backpack - this is OK as it is water-proof & low in profile whilst able to carry my 15" MPB, camera & packable rain coat.

Though I do agree about people using larger backpacks on public transport.

Hey I like that one, looks rather steampunk. Probably would be good for travel, and looks like it would last forever. Definitely not suitable for use with a suit though.

Backpack with a suit? If you wanna look like a nerd, sure. In this case, however, I'd go for the real thing:



Looks best with bespoke navy pinstripe, white french cuff shirt shirt, and black cap toes.

P.S.: Get a bag with rollers if your back problems prevent you from using a normal bag!

I used one in my school days but mine was more like a manbag or briefcase with a strap but I wore it on the side one shoulder not as a backpack.
