I'd like to petition J to upgrade the forum software. Any decent forum would permit me to rate this thread higher than a 5. [IMG] I kinda like the one in my avatar. A little bit for those of us who enjoy the tropics. It's a look for heros and superheros. Rick Blaine [IMG] Indiana Jones [IMG] Bond, James Bond [IMG] And for regular guys as well: [IMG]

Great choice. Have you read the Davis book?
The Davis book is wonderful. The Capote ball was stuff of legend growing up in NYC in the 60s and 70s. I can remember my parents pouring over the photos at the breakfast table. It seems like another lifetime ago.

Mannequins are not as fun as people (well...I guess that depends...), but here are some more images like that from the London Cut exhibition (I'm leaving out white tie, which is whole a other subject):
Ah, I posted the first on because related James Sherwood [Forest] book and contained the frogging I believe you were referring in an earlier thread. Not really relevant I know. The second was a little velvet number from Hitchcock JR. I tend to like the louche-ness of Velvet for these type of occasions. Enough crap... David Niven [IMG] Noel Coward....darling..
