A Leather-specialized tailor in San Francisco?

Hi,

I've found plenty of recommendations here through the Search function on San Francisco tailors in the generic sense, but was wondering if anyone knows if anyone can recommend leather-specific tailors. I tried Google as well with no luck. The only place I could find is called Johnsons Leather on Polk, but am unsure if they are any good.

I'm just looking to shorten the sleeves on a leather jacket, but it's expensive, so I wouldn't want anyoneto screw it up and know that leather can be notoriously difficult to tailor well.

Many moons ago, I went into Johnson leathers and asked them to install a new zipper in my leather. They would not do it.

That is my tailor. Not sure about leather, but she is excellent, would recommend in general.

If you do go, fyi, she is very eccentric and does have a watchdog.
