Or something simlar where the collar has an easier time staying up or is just made in a firm way to stay up. kind of like this jacket

Is there anything I can do to make my collar stay up better?

The collar on the Merc Harrington stands up and stays up and isn't at all flimsy like for example the thin material in a Lonsdale Harrington.

My waxed cotton Fred Perry harrington has a really sturdy collar that is outlined in corduroy, it's definitely the stiffest collar you'll find in a harrington

According to the artcle linked below, the jacket Bond is wearing is a Tom Ford Baracuta-style jacket. I know this isn't really pertaining to your question, but just an interesting piece of information. Who knows, you may be a millionaire willing to pay out the ass for the Tom Ford Harrington. :p http://www.jamesbondlifestyle.com/in...es&g=art081001

I'm glad you pointed that out. That seems to be a common problem in tracking this jacket down.

I've been trying to do so myself, but I'm having no luck.
