I just spent $200 on this:

Lot of 75 men's vintage 1940's to 1960's ties

I view the money as some combination of clothing purchase and entertainment value. According to the seller, the original owner died in 1969 and worked for Brooks Brothers. It'll be fun to see how many of these still 'work' in 2009.
