Do you mean the Benson in Cognac Shell? It seems that the completion date is a moving target now, from late Sep., early Oct. and now end of November!!!!
That makes it a 24 week delivery and not 16 week as anticipated????????????????

Yes, we can certainly get this one going - museum calf is only available in large quantities from the tanners, so is not an option at present. What colour / material would you like?

Is Cognac or Saddle shell a possibility?

Yes, absolutely - Cognac shell order times are lengthy at present. We can also offer Whiskey, Black, No.8 Burgundy.

    Thanks!
I vote for the Cognac, although I could also go for other materials if others want that.

I'd be in for all colors except Black shell.

Is it possible to modify my particular pair of Milton to be without the toe medallion, so that's it's a plain wholecut instead? Kinda like this:

I think a plain whole cut would be stunning in shell - the mto needs to be the same for all pairs though.

    Julian,

I am in for any color. How many do you need to start this one going?

This is what a burgundy shell wholecut looks like (albeit from Carmina):

I'm sure that one from Alfred Sargent would look pretty damned stunning!

i think shell is a bad idea for a wholecut. the wrinkling and aging doesnt suit the design. i think shell is best for a more casual style like a loafer, blucher, or boot
