1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

G! Restrain much? Great color on the cap toes. If I knew you were ordering, I would have asked AFPoS to add a couple of laces for me. Next time! :)

At that price, it was a no brainer. I needed both a plain captoe and a derby.

Smart man. Yeah, good deals are hard to pass up. Still waiting to get lucky from the seconds list! There a NST suede but I have a JL Chambord boot in basically the same colorway so I passed.

With FedEx being the only shipping option for US customers when using the promo, does this also mean import duties are imminent?

Yes, FedEx will charge you duties. Generally they run about 7-8%.

Parcelforce is available as an option for US shipping when the shipping is free. Not sure why they don't offer it at a cost when using a discount code or when the order doesn't qualify for free shipping - this is what I was asking for earlier.

Those midnight blue/suede balmoral monks are sick. Finances aren't right to buy them now, but I'm having a hard time resisting.

Yeah, sadly they didn't have my size on the blue suede sweeping monks.

I believe Alfred Sargent makes them to exclusive standards, if not higher.

Are you guys going to restock the Armfields in black? The shape looks fantastic and looks like it could be a great one black shoe to own.

Of course, these boots were made for us by Alfred Sargent on their hand grade lasts, and designed to be a little quirky and something a little different.

They are made with the very best calf and English oak bark tanned leather for the sole, from the last remaining oak bark tannery in England, J&FJ Baker & Co Ltd in Devon.

As we are making way for lots of other projects we have offered these at this exceptional price. This specification is very high end that other makers charge £500 - £900 for.

Let me know if you have any questions.
