1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The ultime AFPOS brush! Out of the box, I can see that it's really worth it especially with the AFPOS20 promo code and I understand that the price will go up after Christmas? (correct me if I'm wrong).

The wood handle are smooth and look at how dense the horsehair are on the brush. Carmina shoebox for size reference.

As always, amazing service by Sarah and Julian of AFPOS!

We have been quite busy at A Fine Pair Of Shoes Ltd behind the scenes. We have been developing our site to keep all the good bits, and add some very useful features. We also have a new logo, oh and the biggest change is we are moving to a purpose built new HQ that has plenty of room for us to grow and expand!

Congratulations! Does growth and expand imply (in short to medium term) some new models and maybe a variety of width fittings?

Thank you FredAstaire1899. We will be looking to expand all our ranges, and this move will give us the space we need to make sure everything we do carry is always in stock for quick despatch.

    Hi,

just quick question regarding 87 and 109 lasts. If I am wearing 7.5 in 109 last, can I go the same size with 87 last?

    Thx

Yes the 7.5 should be a good fit in the 87 last, these two lasts are similar in terms of length and width.

I have skimmed most of this thread and saw a post about having access to seconds from Alfred Sargent. Is this still possible and how do I go about it? Can anyone provide the basic details for me? Thanks!

Does anyone know how the AS 109 last compares to C&J's 348 last?

The AS Armfield looks pretty sweet and I need a pair.

Dear Colleagues, I hope you can share with me your size experiance of AS shoes.

    Currently I have:

AS Armfield size 7.5 - last 109 - it is perfect size, after small stretch. Could not be smaller
AS Cambridge size 7.5 - last 87 - slightly larger than 109 last, and maybe I would fit into 7

I am wondering which size I should go for with Ramsey (99 lats) and Moore (724 last)? Should I order 7.5 or 8?

    Thank you

    M

I have 2 pairs on the 99 last and it is pretty small. I don't have any 109 last, but if you couldn't go smaller, I'd go up and get a UK8 in 99. I wear the same size in 87 as 724.
