looks great lee. hanjoy.
you done well mouse. you should be proud.
finally tried on the shoes. fit is excellent!! thanks sarah for the rec!
^ stitch, how did you size?
10.5 UK, same as i size in C&Js, zegna and sutors. carmina and G&G i wear an 11. go figure.
Do you have medium-wide feet?
I have medium-narrow feet and feel that sizing ONE whole size down is best.
idk really. ive always been a standard 12D in US sizing, but ive never had a shoe that felt too wide. so i guess i lean more towards the medium-wide. but the thing is, on the shoes i wear a 10.5 in, the issue was more that the 11s were too long, and my heel was slipping out.
For the 7WK last, I was recommended to sized down 1/2 size by Sarah, based on submitting my foot tracing measurements.
Based on that I had MTO a pair of suede brogue, but find it too lose and now use a gel insole to achieve optimal fit.
This time around, for my Bannister, I went a whole size and the fit is spot on.
glad you worked it out lee!
RGH! Finally on the way back from vacation but the shoes I wanted have been sold.
Any plans to bring new models from the AS Exclusive line?
Booooo, you know better D, the trick is to have a box (or two) waiting for you when you return from vacation. Tisk
Interesting Stitch. You look like a us11.5 to me. You should buy my small sized shoes
probs, cuz my foot actually measures 11.5 inches. maybe the US sized shoes i have bought (mostly ferragamo) just run small.
ill gladly TAKE ur shoes. thnx!
I look for a suede chucka, mainly for cold weather use, and find to AS models on sales HAVANT and REDGRAVE.
How would you describe the difference?
The AS Havant has a slightly lighter weight sole and natural welt and heel stack and the AS Redgrave is slightly more substantial - both use the same suede and lining but the AS Redgrave have an oval cut out inside showing the style and size and is AS Exclusive spec - both very nice.
