Thank you for your advice. I really hope it were that easy. I have short feet, long toes with high and voluminous instep. My Brannock size is around 8 US EE with thin socks. Needless to say, It's really hard for me to find the correct size.
I wear US 8.5 EEE in AE's 65 and 1943(?) last. UK 7.5 in Carmina's rain and forest with increased instep height, and 8 UK RTW. CS's 160 in UK 7.5 and 234 in UK8. JF's TMG in UK 7.5. Meermin's Elton in UK 8.

It's literally all over the place. So I really would like to make sure it will fit if I'm going to place a MTO order.

Unless 724 is really generous at ball and instep, my suspicion is that though I can technically wear a UK 7.5, but the V gap would be intolerable.

    Thank you for your help.

FWIW I wear a 12E in AE and have a high instep. The 12 regular width in the 724 works great for me.

Thanks for your effort in this! I was really into the burgundy Blake proposal. Although i suspect that final conclusion would be that the HG lasts are to narrow for me.

Seeing that the HG lasts and models can not be used to exclusive shoes, I guess 724 is back to being the realistic choice for a GMTO. Sadly only a Jodphur, a zip boot and a lazyman can be made on that last according to AS site.

Hopefully this discussion shows that there is interest in the 724 last. As you mentioned AFPOS did a couple of versions a couple of years back. I bought Brunswick in dark brown suede which I love (I think this is Herrick only on 724 and cheaper soles).
There are a lot of options for 109 last, both in AS Exclusive, but also Herring-branded.

the Herrick in suede is on the 109 last, you can purchase from AFPOS by requesting stock pull.

I’m still in for a pair of dark burgundy Moore. I think I will get a UK 7.5 in F or UK 8 E. I would like to have a Danite sole but won’t object a leather sole with a metal tip.

Please add me to the list. Preference for antique burgundy due to pre-existing incoming GMTO in DOAK. The AS leather soles are very good indeed and preference there for leather plus toe taps.

Guys, they would be just standard leather soles to keep things simple
