Hello, I had the opportunity to a fine deal, and took advantage of it. That being a pair of completely new brown Silvano Lattanzi ankle boots in a chisel toe originally from Louis Boston. Anybody care to give a guess of the purchase price at which I got them? http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/f9fc9...aKifABdpx_LSYM

    Stop boasting.
I believe, you got them for 10 Dollar.

I don't share Bengal's overly-generous definition of 'bargain'. If they were any more than one dollar I won't be impressed in the slightest. Â [IMG]

Well, let's see. Bergdorf's has their Lattanzi shoes on sale for $1200 right now. One-third that would certainly seems a good deal. But I can't imagine you'd post over a deal that good ($400), so I'll guess you're boasting when they cost about one-third of that. I'll go with $150.

I am guessing that you bought them from an eBay seller I have in mind for $600.

As for all the guesses of the price none were very close to the mark. Some were just comically low, and others a bit high.
On the assumption that A.Harris might be correct though.

The actual price I paid for these was $350. And yes from a reputable eBay seller. This person did not actually know what Silvano Lattazni was. He advertised the brand as "Jilvauo Lattauri." Which I can understand due to the script of the signature.

It's quite something too that the size was correct. I recall you wore a larger size than an 8.5/9, do you not? But then there's always the resale value;-). There was also a pair of Berluti's some time ago that went for quite cheap but unfortunately the size was incorrect.

And I seem to remember Bengal-Stripe mentioning how he acquired a pair of Lattanzi's on one of the European eBay's for quite cheap.
