JCrew would be a pretty solid step up from A&F without any price differential.

^ It depends on what you're shopping for. If you really want something full price from JCrew, it will probably be the same as A&F, but if you wait a little while the same item might be drastically reduced.

SF is a great place to start. I haven't used B&S, but people find awesome pieces there all the time.

I used to go to borders and look through stacks and stacks of magazines, especially the European ones for inspiration and ideas.

You obviously have a computer, so just do some searches, read some blogs, and become as exposed as possible, if you do this you will find whats right for you and not just put on a uniform that you'll want to take off in a few years.

Thanks for the help, guys. I especially like that^ because I really do need to start with my own style and not just follow the midwest preppy for my age (A&F mixed with various fancy t-shirts). I'll have to check out some of the WAYWT threads and see what people have to say. Thanks again!

I was pretty much like you 3 months ago. After some large amount of money and looking through the entire WAYWT, you should have a pretty different wardrobe and outlook on style.

So Tyson's necropost goes MIA and now I look like the culprit.
