    +1

Agreed. Another interesting point, the SWD crowd seems to favor the MC effort. While the MC crowd gives more credit to the SWD offering.

If the OP has succeeded in anything, it is in getting each side to concede some appreciation on the other. With the usual snark thrown in, of course...

Hobo is too MC, I think, Parker: the funny-socks-type... Why not just Helvetica or Univers? I think those can be used succesfully for both MC and SW&D style(s).
(Sans can be very MC – CBD even, Fox. Think of all the 'big business logos'.)

    :)

Ringing in late on Comparison #1

First of all some clarification: I am certain that both these gentlemen are very nice people. This is not about personality.
CTP120's outfit (Left) while not very exciting is at least well fitted and respectable. You can go anywhere in this outfit.
Ivwri's outfit (Right) ..well LOOK at it! The shoes are ridiculous and the outfit hangs on the man like a garbage bag. A sheer waste of money.

I don't care care for SW&D but... my 2 cents.
This would work better if the trousers were lengthened to cover the top of the shoes. Then the drape and length of the jacket would echo the drape of the trousers. If I wore that, I would tuck in the shirt (sweater?) and top it with a hat. There is no way to fix the shoes.

CTP120 has a good fit but I hate seeing sport coats without ties. To me it looks like a junior executive at happy hour who forgot his tie on the bar stool.

If you simply click each pic, you should get the full size version "slide show" pop-up as long as you are using a browser that renders DHTML adequately (this should be nearly everyone these days, even those who live in Mongolia.)

Being a certain width, it does not matter how large the images are since Huddler will reformat them on the page based on their positions relative to the member bio and ad columns. By just letting the SF image hosting defaults to work, I don't have to worry about resizing these images each time I post them.

It's already more work than you schmucks put into your posts, so I allow me to minimize the effort, where I can, that I devote my amusements.

Are those Cargo pants? A pocket square but no tie?

    Win for aether
Don't like short sleeve shirts or vests but, to honor the SWD aesthetic:

I think the high water pants are the right choice for the short sleeve shirt.
I like the watch and bracelet on the wrists -- that seems to mitigate visual disconnect of the boney arms jutting out from the half sleeves The trousers fit

IMO, both are fine casual looks. I've never really gotten the whole jean stacking thing so I definitely prefer furo's cuffed look. Parker's white plimsolls are classic, but the furo's Indy boots are great! The reddish tones in the boot almost make him look like he tried to match his shirt to the boots, which is odd, but I'll give the nod to furo just for the jeans and boots alone.

You like clunky orthopedic workboots better than a simple pair of white trainers?

Agreed. MC's love affair with giant, goofy boots is a mystery to me.
