I know it's his thing, but those horizontal striped shirts can be pulled off by few - and he's not one of the few.

Despite his excellent books, it seems he ignores all of his own advice...

I ran into him at Martin Greenfield last year and he scoffed at the non-baggy fit of my suits. Martin essentially told him to get with the times, which was amusing coming from an 80+ yr old man. And those damn slippers...

I don't think it's particularly peculiar. It was a gift from my mother, via Louise Irvine's shetland hand knits. It was cold when we shot this, by the way.
