A budgeting dilemma

So I'm heading off into post-Christmas sales and such in NYC tomorrow, and have budgeted for myself about $2.5k to spend. I'd really like to pick up a BB Golden Fleece suit, and perhaps a few smaller items. I also wanted to head over to Leffot to place an Edward Green MTO order.

This would definitely be possible in the given budget, but I also wanted to get a really nice present for my girlfriend... she really likes Louboutin shoes.

What to do?

Get the BB in a city that isn't as expensive as NYC.

Meh.

You're nothing like my man PoloRalph.

Who spent about 10k (or was it 30k?) on a load of stuff. Most of it Ralph Lauren. Ha!

Be honest with yourself and consider which will likely last longer: your relationship with your girlfriend or your relationship with your Edward Greens.
