This is the leather I was talking about: tanned In Hungary, half veg - half chrome. Made for Russian export many years ago, but still fantastic quality (and very limited quantity).

Sorry for the poor quality photos - on the other hand these say much more than the retouched ones..

You can also find it in my "blog" - just I thought this way it gets more publicity

Another beauty. I nearly soiled my laptop screen there just now.

Congrats. It's a real masterpiece. Is there any surcharge for this calf?

No. It is for the regular price. Just very limited quantity.. Only a few pair will come from the quality I have (and most probably exist).

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
