How much does the Brooks Brothers Made-to-Measure suits and sportcoats cost? Do they make it in 60 Portly Long and 58 waist?

BTW, I love their button-down collar shirts.

I paid 1450 for a suit and a custom shirt during a trunk sale a few years ago. I don't think they offer the free shirt anymore but I still think its in the same ball park unless you shoot for high end fabrics.

Yeah, it's pretty pricey. I looked at the MTM program just a few months ago and jacket alone was pushing $1,500. IIRC, the three piece was $2,300.

I don't see why they couldn't cut a suit for those dimensions.

Cost will depend on whether you choose 1818 (cheaper) or Golden Fleece (more expensive, but worth it) programs. You should be able to do an 1818 suit for under $1,500.

Their 1818 MTM line starts at $1,250 for their university line fabrics (pretty cheapo fabric -- I have a suit made from it).

To get similiar fabric quality to their regular 1818 suits, you need to spend about $1,500.

Their Golden Fleece line starts around $1,500 for the cheapo fabrics, and goes up from there.

Basically, for their MTM programs, 1818 and Golden Fleece involved different levels of quality and construction. And, fabrics are then a seperate choice from that.
