Wait a minute! Now that the first black president is looming in our future, what about a black James Bond for us? Daniel Craig says, "Why not?"

Does anyone remember Scotty? He was an American spy more than forty years ago.

Djimon Hounsou could do it. He reminds me of Craig a bit, actually.

Chiwetel Ejiofor, in the Connery/Brosnan smooth-but-still-actionable mode.

Craig must really be jonesing for a black Bond. I read this interview in PARADE a few weeks ago where Craig decided Obama would be a better Bond, and McCain a better M.

+1 I love Ejiofor in just about any role. That movie Firefly wasn't very good, but he was an awesome villain. Well worth watching just for that.

.... I also went down that road. I think Richard Roundtree could also pull it off, assuming a black Bond is allowed to behave black.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
