1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Since I have lived in Dubai I have been introduced to many European brands that do not have a lot of play in the U.S. One that I have frequented as a decent brand and at a good price (though not of the quality of a top flight producer of tailored men's clothing) is Sacoor Brothers. They have amazing customer service, a tailor on site at every store, and decent fabrics. I have purchased suits and sport coats there and have always been satisfied with my experience. Sacoor Brothers has also made waves in Europe by being the exclusive clothiers for several top league football teams. By any accounts an up and coming brand. Imagine my surprise when I logged on to the Sacoor Brothers website and saw a new clothing line launched by none other than... William Baldwin. Oh Sacoor Brothers, why must you wade into the festering wasteland that is the non "Alec" Baldwin? Is this some David Hasselhoff kind of thing where William Baldwin is insanely popular in Germany or Sweden and no one in the real world is aware of it? Am I now reduced to purchasing clothing from a producer who publicly admits to being endorsed by a Baldwin? Well, screw it I guess. They give out free water and coffee, that makes up for it, right? *sigh*

Don't they? It's like a porcupine shellacked into fossilization.

If you weren't put off by the footballers, I don't know why a lesser Baldwin would ruin it for you.

Got to agree: Seems when the most popular baldwin is on his insurance commercial, his suit jacket (when buttoned) has him looking like a over-stuffed sausage. Not good pics for the manufacturer.

A good point. I guess I gave them a little latitude because if Ralph Lauren can clothe the U.S. olympians, why can't a far smaller brand clothe some premier league buffoons?

I think "reading" may be an overstatement for a Baldwin.
