For their spring/summer pre-collection, Maison Martin Margiela have produced some fine footwear, with subtle touches of luxury and modern detailing. This classic oxford is a refined style that has been given a playful twist, with the outsole and welt hand-painted in silver. A classic close-laced construction, the oxford shoe features a layered toe-cap and quarter. Crafted from premium leather that is soft, smooth and supple, they are fully leather-lined for comfort and support. The final flourish comes by the way of a roughly-painted silver outsole, displaying the designer’s artisanal influences, as well as, the brand’s signature white stitch on the heel. These shoes fit true to size. Made in Italy and supplied with a protective dust bag.
