Says the douchebag that looks for 'cause and effect' in all things. As a counsellor, I do not ram every bloody theory that Freud, Jung, Adler, Horney, and anybody else in the field came up with, down the throat of my client. I take an eclectic approach that borrows from Freud et al. and I also use common sense. Everyone is different and we, collectively, do not have the answer to many, many things. You are the ignorant one if you assume otherwise. Moron.

I am seriously worried for all of your unfortunate patients. I cannot even imagine the garbage, harmful advice you give them based on what your grand pappy did.

I do not give advice. I am there to listen and to be present with the client. I allow him/her to explore and to facilitate change.

Do you? You really need to get a clue if you think I sit there and tell my client what to do. What year is this?

It's a fair question. Does your "therapy" involve any talismans or incense burning? How about encantations or discussions of auras?

How do you get sick without an infectious agent?

You might have the SYMPTOMS of sickness (running nose, sore throat) but you won't necessarily have a virus causing you to be sick...those symptoms will subside once you warm up. EDIT: this is directed to Suited.
