I love them. I've got a pair of denim bootcuts and some of jean cut khaki's. The fit is great and they're not too distressed (much less than some of the latest dieselv styles). They fit awesome and that's most important to me because I have no rear end and wear a 29 waist. Can be tough, but these have passed the test.

they remind me of carpe, or paper denim, all of which I love. I think seven has a cool back stitch.

Guys, I spoke too soon about Seven jeans (in some other posts, I condemned them). Last night I was at Bloomingdales, and was checking out the new jeans. This is the first time I had been shopping in the US for 5 months, so I wasn't up to date on the new lines. However, I see that Seven has improved. When they first came out, they were carbon copies of the womens, hence my distain for them. The new ones, now called "Seven for all Mankind," seem pretty cool, I like the wash, and the fit looked great. I couldn't tell if the waist was as extremely low riding as the first models were though.

I also checked out some PDC jeans, which still seem to be producing the baggier model than the ones I have. The washes didn't look like anything new or exciting either.

I agree with what you're saying Mike. Both of mine are 7 for all Mankind and the washes are different from the women's. I've got a twin sister who wear's Seven and Habitual, so I can compare side by side and wanted to mak sure we weren't wearing the same pants. PDC are soooooo baggy on me unfortunately. I love the feel, washes, etc but I wish they'd look out for the skinny guy. Maybe it's the growing US waistline, but all pants I find to be baggy, especially dress pants. I have been updating my work attire, so I've been trying on a ton of pants w/ no luck. I'm gonna check out some more when I get to the city this weekend. Glad you made it back safe.
    Cheers,
    Pete

Sorry to ask for yet another opinion. Any impressions of Lucky Brand Jeans? I think it also was accused of getting into the men's apparel market too quickly with similar fabrics and washes to the women's products. I saw some at Nordstrom's and I thought that although lower priced than the Sevens they had a similar feel in fabric and cut to some of the Seven pieces.

These jeans are garbage. Figures considering it's the same corporation that makes Wrangler.

This is the second pair I've purchase. I was somewhat pleased with the first pair, and decided to purchase another. Big mistake. These Jeans bleed blue dye. It ruined my jacket and boots. The dye even stained my skin.

I tried contacting the company VF Corporation and both my emails and regular mail messages went unanswered.

I understand that every now and then there is a defective product, but failing to respond to a customer is unacceptable.

So to reiterate, these jeans are GARBAGE!

Plus they sell them at Mens Wearhouse so they must be junk [IMG] In all seriousness though they are great jeans they are comfortable and fit well for some body types but dont really hold up well if washed repeatedly, and their denim is not as nice as say PRPS

Whoa, 6 years later... that's got to be a record...

As to the actual question, I know they get lots of hate. I've tried on a few just out of curiosity since the wimmenze seem to love them and yeah, they're crap denim, hugely overpriced, and the cuts really aren't very good or original.

That being said, I did actually just buy my first pair, but let me say they're nothing like normal 7's, so I feel like it's ok. They're all black with minimal grey stitching on the back, actually very slim ("standard"), and they were $50 Canadian bucks, so whatever. I'll use them as a beater pair...
