SF, I need some general guidance on which way to go. I am going to be spending roughly 6k~ into new suits. I have three options Nordstrom-I goto a mens manager at my local nordstrom and he always has me looking sharp. He has sold suits to me for roughly a year, he has sold me Z Zegna and Canali. He is limited on what swatches and materials he has. He always fits me well and spends alot of time with me but again, he is limited on selection and fabric. If I would buy from him it wouldnt be custom and it would be Z Zegna or Canali Brooks Brothers-I have browsed brooks brothers for there M2M in there golden fleece cut. The fabric looks amazing although it isn't custom and I have no been pleased with how the other suits I have purchased have fit me. A little too long on the coat and a little too baggy through the thighs. I was thinking that if it is M2M it could come out differently, although I have never bought a m2m from brooks brothers. Tom James- there is a tom james salesman that calls on many people (including my company's CEO) and is highly recommended. He claims that the quality he could put me in with his tom james suits will beat brooks brothers and he will take my measurements to make sure the suit comes out 100% right or my money back. This guy has been recommended to me by many different people and he also makes suits for a family member. I am just concerned about the true quality of the suits. Any help or insight from SF would be greatly appreciated. I have no clue which way to go.
