I'm doing good. I was gonna sell them because of the inseam but i soaked them and pulled like hell and now the inseam is perfect :p A bit large in the lower leg, but that's fine. You should get a pair though, they are pretty nice.

I'm trying to stick to one pair of jeans this year, haha. We'll see what happens. I wanna go to Paul Smith and check out those MIJ Red Ear.

Dude, you need to call the NYC store to get Suminandos. As for the 17" hem, that's not really that small. Maybe they look wierd because you are pairing wingtips with them. Some boots, maybe, or some chucks. Yup. Then you can be just like Rye. You know you want that.

I think they should be slim enough for most people given how the specs were described.

Fok,

When you say, exactly 34" inseam do you mean the inseam will measure exactly 34"? The 34x32 LDB rigid currently measures exactly 34" Is that how the new one will be? or will the "34 inch" inseam be more like 36"?

We are not allowing for any shrinkage on these jeans, so they should measure out to exactly 34" in the inseam. On the rigid LDB you have, Godmother sized them to allow for shrinkage after successive washes, possibly with tumble drying, so she recommends sizing down one in the rigid wash if you plan on wearing them without any washing.

On the 5EPxSF jean, we have sized them so that you should get your actual size if you plan on wearing them straight out of the box, without washing, as we expect most people to do.

Dude, they're going be about 80 bux more expensive than getting them through other means after shipping is what I'm assuming unless I'm wrong.

I don't like jeans with the Rye micro hem, I think they look terrible with chucks.

Sounds good. I'll probably grab these in 36" width then since it's not allowing for any shrinking/washing. They're going to be significantly slimmer than SSDS, right?

This sounds dope. Will it be less slim than the PBJ XX-005, or very similar? Cause that's what I'm looking for.

The way it's sized right now, it will be a less slim and have a higher rise than the PBJ-005X.

How will the rise & slimness compare to APC NS sized down 2? That's my reference point since my 5EPs are being hemmed. Thanks!

the $250 range was mentioned as a rough estimate, if it was $250 and sold through denimbar it would be ~200 for us presumably

Wow, these are the exact specs I look for in a pair of jeans. And the fact that it's 5EP quality denim has me sold. Put me down for a 36" inseam. Now just to head off to Oak or FF to double check my size. Godmother, any chance you're looking to hire someone or get an intern for anything? Webshop design, marketing, sales, R&D, gopher, whipping boy, anything?

I don't know why, but I have the feeling that the discount wont be valid for these jeans :p

I don't know if that is true. In any case, Styleforum will match Denim Bar's price. Between Styleforum and Denim Bar, we will have 95 pieces, total. The rest (of the total of 150 pieces cut) will be found on the shelves at Oak and Uncle Otis, with 5EP selling some pieces online.
