Here's mine. They are a size 33x36. The is the first jean I've had with a longer inseam so I'm debating whether to let them stack or to cuff :p Also the first jean I've had that is this damn tight in the thighs, but I think I like them.

stack or hem or cuff, they already look good. don't worry about it. what kind of shirt is that?

    Jean Update:

Managed to squeeze my wallet into the back pocket finally. Unfortunately whilst at Starbucks I couldn't extract said wallet. After embarrassingly pushing the lower portion of my wallet up to the top edge In a strange reach around maneuver I gripped a good inch of my wallet to finish the mission. I thought a caesarian was needed.

I think a couple of repeat scenarios should sufficiently stretch the pocket the 1/4" or so needed to hold my wallet.

^^^ I picked up one of these wallets a few months back and have been pretty pleased. Wallet extraction-problem free since May: [IMG]

Got mine today...these jeans are incredible. I was wavering on 31 or 32 and went with 31s. Probably should have sized up, but they still fit and are already stretching nicely. They fit basically like my size 29 APC NS (before they got laundered and shrank again...) after they were fully stretched. The denim is just unreal. I'll post pics of the fit when my camera is charged.

So... that's one LV wallet, and one CdG that won't fit. My conclusion is that it is not possible to stuff vast amounts of cash in your back pocket. The solution is to send me the cash. I carry a manbag, okay, a Chrome messenger, but in any case, it will fit as much cash as you can send.

hooray! got my pair of 5EPxSF today. I tried them on and I guess I gained some weight so am glad I got the 31. The fit reminds a lot of the APC NS but with much nicer materials. I think they will quickly become my new favorite pair of jeans!!!

Thank you LA Guy, Godmother, and the Style Forum for the collaboration.

Yeah, like I said, mine are basically like my 29 NS, but with a much better looking top block and vastly nicer construction and denim. Absolutely great.

^Prozach...could you compare the hem measurements on your APC NS 29s and 5EPxSF 31s (even if you just hold them up together)? I have an APC NS 29, and am thinking about getting a 5EPxSF 31, but am a bit concerned that the 5EP has too much taper for me. Thanks!

I have both (APC NS in size 29 and 5EPxSF in size 31.) The hem on the 5EPxSF in size 31 is just a little under 8", a little larger than the hem on the APC NS size 29, which is closer to 7.5". The hem and knee measurements on my pair of 5EPxSF are nearly identical. Most of the taper is from the thigh to the knee.

Thanks LA Guy. So what would you say are the key differences in cut/fit between APC NS size 29 and a 5EPxSF size 31? Sounds like they are very similar from the knee down. I like everything about the fit of my APC NS 29, except that they can be ball busters. Would they be about the same in the waist?

The SFx5EP is lower rise than the APC.

The 5EPxSF (31) has about the same rise as the APC NS (29). The seat is a touch roomier, ime.

Are the measurements for the odd sizes in between those of the corresponding even sizes on the size guide?

How do they compare in the thigh?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on the 5EPxSF. The only reason I'm so hesitant is because I just bought a pair of Dior 21cm, and my denim budget is getting blown to shreds!
