Where would one find 5EP in LA to try them on? Also, are there any online retailers? What's their website?

The website is www.denimmafia.com

I'm not sure if the store list is up to date, but you can get deadstock jeans on sale ($150+shipping, I believe) from 5EP directly right now (I think, still), by emailing [email protected]

Otherwise, I know that MAC (SF), Oak in nyc (www.oaknyc.com ), and SF member savage's store, Dresscodes, in Decatur, GA, also carry the brand.

Edit: you are in LA. Hmmm... I think that Fred Segal carries them, but could be wrong...

I don't think you can get 5EP anywhere in LA. I'd just buy them from 5EP for $150 in your normal waist size for resin or dark worn, or size down 1-2 for raw, and if they don't work, you can resell for full retail on the board easily.

American Rag and HTC are also listed on their site. I actually have to go to HTC on Beverly to have some other jeans shortened, so I will check then.

American Rag did actually have 2 pairs left, this was also a couple weeks ago. Don't know if they still have them. They were some sort of washed/worn pair, no raws or resin.

I'd imagine you'll have to wait until the new stock ships.

I talked to Godmother today, and the stockists who will be getting new stuff in (and soon) are: Douglas Fir, Ron Herman, and Hollywood Trading Company. I've not been to Douglas Fir, but I love Ron Herman and HTC. Ron Herman has to be *the* LA store. I think that Maxfield takes more chances, but if you want to see what style is all about in LA, go to Ron Herman. My one great non-buying regret is a boiled wool raw cut moss green zip hoodie from Griffin that I saw there around 2001 or so.
