I'm not at all familiar with 5EP. Do they have a website? Also, I know the styling is more contemporary, but what makes them "better" than R&B?

I wouldn't say that the two lines are really comparable, nor would I say that designs 5EP are more "contemporary". Rag & Bone jeans are dressier, I would say, more urbane, while 5EP jeans have a more western, classic, aesthetic. 5EP uses better denim, more durable and with more complex color, but the denim used by Rag & Bone is not at all bad. The price points are comparable. I would say that it comes down fit and to how your tastes run.

Is it just me or the washes 5ep sell, especially on the site Babar posted, are really bad? IMO, they're fake looking and obtrusive. Also, I just got my 5ep Low Down Bootcuts. I just wish the coin pocket was smaller, but other than that, they fit great and have nice details. Really cool selvage outseam, too.
