I see on ebay this listing for a Thom Browne shirt with ridiculously long 54" sleeves. I don't get it. Please explain this to me.

That first picture belongs in the "creepy sartorial images" thread... it is deeply disturbing in ways I cannot explain.

For the well-to-do psychiatric patient . . . it's a bespoke straight-jacket. The sleeves cross in front and are tied in back.

This was actually up in B&S for a while. There are actually way weirder Thom Browne items, if you check his fashion shows.

Runway piece. The sleeves were shown tied behind the back, sort of like a straight jacket.
