I've bought two pairs of shoes from Seok and the shoes look better in person than in the pics. $100 for Grenson Masterpiece is just ridiculously low regardless of color or style

Let me clarify...$300 for 2 pairs of Grenson Masterpieces ("package trade," as some call it), and $150 for 2 pairs of the other Grensons I have.

Not as far off topic as you think. I recognized the name of the forumer selling these as a Korean name because I used to live there and am familiar with the names. When I was told where the seller bought them I realized they are obviously authentic but I am an infrequent poster here and relatively new at buying here. I didn't know what a good reputation Seok had until I investigated, which I should have done before I posted anything. My mistake.

To answer your question: Gukje market is in central Busan and is an epicenter for fake goods of all stripes coming in from all parts of Asia. I have products from Hermes, Celine, Rolex, Alex McQ, Ferragamo, Apple, Jil Sander and many others that I purchased there (mostly for novelty purposes). I am not sure if you took exception to my post, but if you thought it was derogatory to Koreans, I am sorry. I have very close and lasting ties to the country and the people through Yongsei University and Boardman Im Yo Han (Mr. John Linton) and would not disrespect the country in any way.

It is basically impossible to produce and sell fake Stuart's Choice at a profit. Same for Lobb, EG, C&J, etc. If we were talking about Prada or Gucci, however...

I was being quite cynical at first and I should not have been so careless with Seok, I should have researched first. As for business in the R.o.K in general, I would never underestimate the ingenuity of the street or temporary storefronts there, they make grifters on Canal St. or Koh San Rd. look like amateurs. It is an art that few can appreciate.

Okay, I have tried to pm you twice now to no avail.

Seok, I would like the brown loafers (item #6). I would like to buy them without buying the black loafers. I know that this is an inconvenience for you and am prepared to offer another $10 or $20 on top of your asking price if you would be willing to sell them by themselves. If this is too much trouble, I wish you good luck on conducting the sales to your wishes, the terms you have attached are very good deals by any measure! I don't know why the pm function is failing me now, very strange...maybe Grenson sabotage...

The brown tassel loafers you were looking at were sold, and I am showing out 2 more pairs that I was looking to sell. These are normally $300/pair, and I'm selling them at $130/2 pairs. I just need to get rid of this stuff and make some room.

Great! I sent another pm a couple of hours ago. I understand where the disconnect was now! Thank you!
