Confederacy of Dunces should be a movie. But it's completely unfilmable. So probably best it's not a movie.

I'd like the Neuromancer movie to finally be made. But hopefully not with that whiny Vader kid guy playing Case.

Also I'm going to violate the no remake rule and suggest a remake of The Sand Pebbles, with Operation Earnest Will as the backdrop.

A movie about John McAfee.

A movie about Homer Lea.

I've toyed around with a screenplay titled "Businessman's Lunch." It's about the manager of an executive suite rental in a high rise office tower who rents space to a penile enhancement quack doctor and has to deal with complaints about the doctor from other tenants. It finally spirals into a horror comedy set piece.

Private Dicks (Comedy)

Steve Carrel plays a private detective, hired to gather up information on an unsuspecting target (Will Ferrel). Unbeknown to him, this man is also a private detective, who has been hired to gather up information on him . As the two go through the movie sitting in parked cars, wondering why the other guy is not driving away, or what he's doing outside their apartment, they eventually discover they have been hired by the same person, who hired them out of boredom.

Death to Canada (dark comedy)

After their flight runs into a serious delay, four American friends find themselves stranded in Toronto. Expecting to be greeted by an icy tundra, and friendly Canadians who speak with "cute" accents", the four friends venture out into the city, eventually finding themselves lost, in a place drastically different from their preconceived notions of Canada. Knife wielding pimps, gangs, corrupt cops, and a blistering heat wave greet these friends, who must try to stay alive in the city that usually goes to bed at a reasonable hour.

Finding BIgfoot

I don't have all the details worked out yet but think it will be a discursive study of a man that feels persecuted by the VRWC conspiracy and decides to move to the wilderness and find the creature that truly understands him: Big Foot.

I was going to recommend Cold Skin but in my search see that it's coming out in 2014.

John Landis should just come out and make See You Next Wednesday already.

Synopsis
The Blues Brothers go on tour with a hologram version of Michael Jackson and become embroiled in a CIA sponsored nuclear missile program that is trying to frame the Russians for blowing up Jupiter. Werewolves attack Eddie Murphy and Brian Benben who play stockbrokers by day but have to cooperate with vampire mafiosos and the Blues Brothers and hologram Michael Jackson to avert worldwide catastrophe.

The Sam Cooke story would be great. Great career; controversial death.

China Mieville's Perdido Street Station

A sympathetic examination of Benedict Arnold - I would love to see something more than a caricature...

I am super excited to see the Wolf Hall adaptation
