Gant by M. Bastian green/navy plaid cotton jacket, 38R, $385 ---> $355. Current season. Beautiful fabric and cut, fully lined in cotton striped shirting. Completely unpadded shoulder, 2 button closure with notch lapels, patch hip pockets and barchetta breast pocket, 4 button working cuffs with horn buttons, side vents. Original retail is $985. I've removed the elbow patches but I can include them if you'd like to put them back on. Top picture is the most accurate representation of color.

Chest: 20.5"
BOC:29"

Incredible BNWT Gant by M. Bastian solid beige seersucker suit, 38R, $615---> $585. Beautiful fabric and cut, self 1/4 lined and french faced. completely unpadded shoulder, 3/2 roll button closure with notch lapels, patch hip pockets and barchetta breast pocket, 4 button working cuffs with MOP buttons, side vents, fully lined. Trousers are flat front with 8th top pockets and 1.75" cuffs. Original retail was around $785 for the jacket and 295 for the pant.

Shoulder: 17.5"
Chest: 20.25"
BOC:28.75"
Sleeve: 26"

Pant Measurements:

Waist: 16.25"
Inseam: 31" with 1.75" cuffs and .75" on the inside

Why does MB insist on gorilla arm sleeve length?! Especially with functional buttons that can't be tailored...

All gant by MB sleeve are easily alterable from the shoulder as they are completely unpadded.

Its more complicated but certainly not impossible, particularly on jackets with an unpadded shoulder. If you are located in the NYC area I can recommend a few tailors that are very good at this particular alteration.

I just moved to LA and still searching for a 'capable' tailor.

You've rekindled my hopes regardless - I have the MB madras jacket from last season and thought I wouldn't be able to fix it!

Try Wilshire Tailor at 6329 Wilshire Blvd. Older Lebanese gentleman that works with his wife. Not cheap but you won't regret the work he does.
