Hi

Yes I know how FiH is , but sometimes I do until 8 turns, ( L,R,L,R,L,R,L,R,L, Center) in order to get some volume on thin ties. I´m tall, long neck.

How many turns you do to do that? I found this " Victoria" tie knot video , I even do more turns...

Thanks

That video shows a half-windsor, not a victoria. Go here, and try the windsor. Just remember that a lot of people around here prefer the regular, small, four-in-hand.

Generally just a small four-in-hand which gives more than enough volume on most of my ties. I have a Hober gabardine which i go around an additional time on. The material seems to tie very tightly and going around a second time gives the right size.

I knew something was wrong on the video... The real Victoria is like a do.. FIH with more turns.. I like the 4IH but with a average volume.. and I only get it doing several turns on it instead of just 2.. Do I do well? I also like half Windsor but no Windsor.. it makes me look like a super market cheap seller...
