1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

These will only be available two places for now.. www.selfedge.com and 3sixteen's own online store, neither of us will be discounting these.

Those ties look pretty swank. The orange number would be fun for the summer months. Price is a bit steep, though.

New Yorkers, we wanted let you know about an event that we'll be participating in: a weekend marketplace curated by Michael Williams (acontinuouslean.com) and Randy Goldberg (urbandaddy.com) that takes place this upcoming weekend. It's all menswear - Billykirk, Gitman Bros., Alexander Olch, and more will be there with us showing and selling various goods. If you've never seen our clothing up close, please stop by and say hello...we'll have plenty of things for purchase and to preview. We'd love to meet you. [IMG]

so i'm looking into my next pair of jeans because my SJDJs are going to be blowing out at any moment (you guys did one repair on a crotch hole at SE, another one came right in) which kinda disappoints me because i just bought them from the store in December. live and learn. so i want something that will put up with a lot more abuse this time.

are the 3sixteens comparable in strength (denim wise and construction wise) of say, 50-10s or Shearers? i know they are much less expensive, but i'm wondering how much that is reflected in the quality of the jeans themselves. i'll be coming into the store to try them all on whenever I end up needing them, anyways...

I'd say that 3sixteen is definitely a good step up above Nudies, especially in terms of the quality and sturdiness of the denim itself, i'm quite positive they'd outlast your Nudies..

Might be asking a little much for the owner to comment on, but how would you say they stack up to Skulls or the Imperials? Really worth the extra cash?

    not really hypebeasty at all
that term gets thrown around a lot incorrectly

If they're at extra butter, the hypebeasts like 'em.

Skull we have no idea about.. it's been "next month" for the last six months.

FH's tan leather bracelet.. we're waiting on it. In the meantime, have you seen the new ones we got from Flat Head and Dry Bones?

Anyone seen/have the 3sixteen monsoon jacket? How is the sizing on it? Thinking about picking one up but don't know if I should get a M or L.... any help is much appreciated.

Mikey, the Monsoon is pretty true to size. If you like a slimmer fit and plan to wear it with just a tee or button down underneath, go with the M. If you want to be able to layer underneath it, then size up to the L. Hope that helps...
