I'm 6ft2 and i have 39 inch shoulders, so ideally i should get Blazers that are 39 L ...unfortunately these don't exist.

I currently own a 40 L Blazer from JCrew and i decided to buy the same blazer in 39 R to compare (i can return it if needs be).

So below is me wearing each. What are your thoughts? Which suits better?

What can I do with a tailor? Get the shoulders on the 40 L, shortened? Or get the 39 R length lengthened?

Or is there anywhere that does 39 L?

PS after talking these shots, i dusted the TV stand lol

Check out European brands. Euro 50L is a US 39L (I'm the same size and the Euro brands generally fit me very well).

Cheers I'll check Euro 50L out.

I think i'll hold onto the 39R, its short but not too bad.

personally i think the 40 looks better.

i think the 38 looks creased (so it doesnt help matters) but it also looks tighter when done up around your button!

The 40 at the shoulders looks a bit big, right?

The 39 is just out of the delivery box so that probably why it looks creased.

Both jackets are tight in the upper back and a bit short. The 39's sleeves might be creased, but the jacket is too small in front.
