I am going to make some major changes to my wardrobe and would like to add some suits and sport-coats. However, my size is 36S and a quick glance to RLBL, RLPL and Brooks Brothers shows that 38 is the smallest size. I am wondering where I can get suits and sport coats at 36S? (Most of my stuffs were MTM, but now I want to get some off the shelf). Thank you.

RLBL makes 36S, all major designer makes 36S (Gucci/Versace/Armani, but you might not want them unless it's on heavy discount).

Call Brooks Brothers' flagship store. They have tons of 36S sport jackets. Paul Stuart also carries lots of 36S.

Are you sure? I just checked and both RLBL and Emporio Armani don't have 36S.

Some of these brands fit quite small, so even a "38" fits more like a 36... check the measurements incase. Also, check ebay just as a reference. This may help you get some measurements on selection you might not find in stores.

Positive, Purple Lablel only has 38S, but Black Label has 36R and 36S, as I just tried on at the mansion in NYC about 2 weeks ago. Used to buy Versace on discount when they were still decent, they certainly make 36, Gucci also makes 36 for sure. Armani Collezioni makes 36, not sure about Emporio.

I would say get RLBL 36, out of all the ones mentioned though.

P.S., if you search on B&S, there is a 36S brown peak lapel RLBL still being sold. I personally would get the navy pintstripe though, very subtle and deep dark blue.

Vacation in Italy. Italian 46 is on every rack I've seen. Pants even smaller. Plus if you're shorter the cuts will likely flatter you more.

Plus if you aren't an EU citizen you should be able to reclaim the VAT.

Yeah, I am doing it right now, sadly I'm 5'5 with small frame, so I can't go over 135lbs.

Thanks for the verification, I will hit some stores this weekend in downtown Chicago, hopefully to find some 36S

Yeah, for some reason I could not find anything useful earlier (I tried 36 and 36S), but thanks a lot for though.

Talking about brands/designers, I want things that are at a bit higher end (ie. BB, RL..). So I have some doubt on H&M and Zara, I have no clue on the other like Monaco, United Colors of Beneton, can anyone educate me a bit about this?
