hey, I was just wondering if anyone had any reviews for the 346 line. I got a couple of polos and buttons up from the outlet, and I didn't know that 346 was made for the outlet. Is the difference in quality really noticeable, because i still like them but I feel like I got jipped. Wasn't really aware they were made for outlet. Anyone have any experience with them?

You could do worse in terms of polos and buttondowns, but bigger ticket items like sportcoats and outerwear are a larger step down from the main line (from what I've seen). They are also a fair step down in price though, so not sure why you feel "jipped" if you "still like them". Best to wait for a main line sale in the future.

Well I like the stuff, but some people I know are a bit snobbish about it. I still think its pretty good

Well, then, it sounds like you got a good deal.

If it fits you well, 90% of the people you meet won't tell the difference between it and the same jacket in one of their main lines, and that of the 10% who might, half of them will be too well mannered to say anything negative. So rock on.

If it helps, while some differences in quality between something like a 346 line piece and a "mainline" piece are things apparent to a (very) discerning eye, other differences relating to materials and construction work to keep the item looking better longer, i.e. aren't as visible when new.

As long as you know that going in, and adjust what you are willing to pay accordingly, you can still finds things that are a decent value as you stock your closet.
