What made you go with this over the M3? I would assume with the packages and kit you selected, the price would have been very close.

New M3 is not being produced in 2007 and I was a bit under a time crunch given the fact that my previous car got totaled.

Beautiful car. Did you purposely add each option or was it sort of a "that's the only way they come, fully loaded"?

I'm still not a fan of the new 3, but you'll still have a lot of fun nonetheless. Congrats.

Went to the BMW dealership yesterday and am now considering the 328xi Sedan. I am new to the luxury Bavarian Motors and would suggest any help in choosing options. Do I need all wheel drive? I am not adverse to owning a manuel shift car, is this the best way to go with this car. whnay, why does your exhaust pipes look different than the model shown in their brochure. Your car shows two separate pipes and their representation of the exhaust shows two pipes together. Is this only in the coupe model?

Best Regards,

Gary

whnay: You may know that I own an '01 330ci. I love it! In those models there was no combo of both the premium and sports package. I opted for the sport.

Yours does look great! Still wary of the turbos but I hope yours doesn't have problems from that. The M3 is supposed to include turbos also and the HP is going to be stratospheric. Plus, BMW is known for having great torque. I understand the M3 will look more like the Z4. I think it's a good idea to make the regular 3 and M3 look different.

About the pics. Those first ones were obviously bad (maybe low light?). Because in those, the car looks almost bronze or yellow. Yet, it's actually silver. Mine is too, though they call it platinum metallic.

The car is badass. I've been a member of the e90 boards for a while now eyeing this thing.
